Seriously, I've been in Taichung for two weeks now and every time I go to throw something away, I'm standing there like a deer in headlights trying to figure out which bin is for what. The other day I put a plastic bottle in the general trash and a sweet old lady came running over to correct me 😅. She even showed me the right way with a big smile. So embarrassing but also kind of heartwarming. Anyone else struggle with this at first? I've seen the guides on the wall but honestly they're all in Chinese and my reading skills are still at toddler level. Also, is it true you're not supposed to throw away kitchen waste in the regular trash? My neighbor got really upset when she saw me dumping leftovers. I'm just trying not to look like a total barbarian here. Tips appreciated! Maybe we can have a recycling tutorial meetup at the Fengjia night market or something? 😂
