Hey everyone, I've been in Prague for about a month now and I'm getting a bit tired of the usual tourist spots. I live near I.P. Pavlova and I'm looking for a place that serves good, authentic Czech food but maybe with a twist? Or even something completely different like Korean or Ethiopian—I just want a proper meal that isn't drowning in oil. I walked past a place called 'Sia' on the way to Karlovo náměstí, looks interesting? Also, any recommendations for a cozy pub where locals actually go, not just a beer hall full of stag parties? Bonus points if they have decent vegetarian options. Děkuju!

Totally feel you! I'm also a foreigner here, and while I love the trdelník and svíčková, it gets old. Have you tried Lokál near I.P. Pavlova? They have great authentic Czech food like svíčková and decent beer, but it's not touristy. Also, if you're near the square, check out U Parlamentu for a quieter vibe. Their beef tartare is legit!
