Hey everyone, I just moved to Chongqing for work and I'm trying to open a bank account at the local ICBC branch near Jiefangbei. The teller asked for something called a 'residence registration form' – is that the same as the temporary registration slip from the police station? I went to the police station but they just gave me a tiny paper that looks like a receipt. Also, do I need to bring my work contract or just the passport? I've been to three different branches and each one tells me something different. Any tips on which bank is easiest for foreigners? I'm getting desperate – my salary is stuck in cash 😅.
