Hey everyone, I'm a foreign student living in Kemang, and my landlord just told me he's raising my rent by 30% starting next month. I've been here for 6 months, always paid on time, no issues. He said it's because 'inflation' and 'market rate' but I checked similar places nearby and they're way cheaper. Is this normal here? I'm on a 1-year lease and it doesn't say anything about rent increases in the contract. Can he just do that? Anyone dealt with this before? I'm thinking of pushing back but don't want to get kicked out. Any advice appreciated!
