Hey everyone, just wanted to give you a heads-up about a moving company called 'Express Movers Kazan' (they operate near the Kazan-1 railway station). I hired them to move my stuff from Chistopolskaya to the new apartment on Peterburgskaya Street. They quoted me 5,000 rubles, then after loading everything, demanded 12,000 or they'd leave my boxes on the sidewalk. I paid because I was desperate, but later realized they'd 'lost' a box with my laptop and some jewelry. Police say it's a civil matter. Anyone dealt with this? Also, does anyone know a reliable moving service that won't rip you off? Preferably one that actually shows up on time and doesn't change the price mid-job. Stay safe, guys.
