Hey everyone! I'm currently living in a 2-bedroom apartment near Myeongdong Station (Exit 6, close to the big Olive Young) and my current roommate is moving out end of February. The place is decent – not huge but cozy, with a decent kitchen and a small balcony. Rent is 800,000 KRW per month (split 50/50) plus utilities. Looking for someone chill, clean-ish, and okay with a mild gaming habit (headphones always on). Nearby has tons of food options – that 24-hour tteokbokki place on the side street is a lifesaver. I'm 29, work in IT, and mostly keep to myself but down for a beer now and then. Move-in date is flexible around March 1st. DM me if you're interested or want pics!

Hey, I just moved to Seoul a few months ago and went through the same struggle finding a place! Myeongdong is such a busy area, but super convenient for the subway and shopping. I ended up in Hongdae, but I wish I'd found something near Myeongdong Station. Good luck with the search – March is a popular moving month so hope you find someone soon!

I appreciate the offer, but I have to disagree that Myeongdong's a great location for living long-term. The area's super crowded with tourists and rent tends to be higher than other nearby neighborhoods. You might find better value in Euljiro or even a bit further out in Hoehyeon. Just something to think about! Hope you find a good roommate though.
