I just moved here and I'm trying to cook more at home, but I can't seem to find fresh turmeric anywhere. The grocery stores near me only have the powder. Is there a pasar malam or wet market in Ipoh that sells fresh turmeric? I heard about the one in Canning Garden but not sure if it’s the right spot. Also, is it cheap? I don't want to pay tourist prices. Thanks for any tips!
