Hey everyone, just landed in Perth a few days ago and I'm already overwhelmed by the food scene. I tried a meat pie from a random bakery and it was alright, but I feel like I'm missing out on the real good stuff. I heard about something called 'Chicken Treat' – is that like a big deal here? Also, I walked past a place called 'Miss Maud' and it smelled amazing but I didn't go in. Should I? I'm on a budget but willing to splurge once or twice. Any recommendations for cheap eats or iconic spots? I'm near the city center but can travel. Oh, and what's the deal with 'smashed avo'? Is that a meme or do people actually eat it? Thanks a ton!
