Hey everyone! I just landed in Seattle from abroad and I'm totally lost on where to live. I've heard Capitol Hill is cool but expensive, and Fremont has a troll statue? I'm looking for somewhere safe, not too boring, and with decent transit since I don't have a car. Also, is it true that some neighborhoods get really sketchy at night? I'm excited but also kinda nervous. Any tips on areas near UW or downtown that won't break the bank? Thanks a ton!
