Alright, I'll say it - **La Maison** in Old Montreal makes the best poutine outside Quebec. Fight me.

But for Toronto specifically? **Poutineville** in Kensington Market is incredible. Their gravy is perfectly balanced - not too salty, right amount of peppery kick. Curds are fresh and squeaky. 

Honorable mentions:

- **Roi** in Koreatown - surprisingly good fusion poutine

- **Holy Chuck** - loaded poutines are fun but not traditional

- **Smoke's** - late night drunk poutine, can't beat it
