Planning a trip to Cameron Highlands and I want to visit the tea plantations properly, not just the tourist photo spots. Are there plantations that offer proper tours explaining the whole process from leaf to cup? I have heard BOH is the most famous but I am wondering if there are smaller, more interesting options. Also wondering about the best time to visit - I have heard it can be very foggy and rainy. How long do people typically spend there?
