Planning a trip to Brunei and I am wondering about the food situation. I have heard that Brunei is a Muslim country and most food is halal, but I am also wondering about the variety. Are there good non-Malay food options? I have heard there is a significant Chinese community so I am hoping there is good Chinese food. Also wondering about alcohol - I know it is restricted but what are the actual rules for tourists? Any practical food and drink advice would be helpful.
