I am planning to spend a month in Serbia and I do not drive. I know Belgrade is easy to get around but I want to explore other parts of the country too - Novi Sad, Nis, maybe some of the monasteries. How good is the bus and train network between cities? Are there areas that are basically impossible to reach without a car? I am comfortable with slower travel and I do not mind waiting for connections. Any advice from people who have traveled around Serbia by public transport?
