I have been in Nassau for a month and I am obsessed with the idea of sailing to some of the outer islands. I have very limited sailing experience - just a few lessons years ago. Is it realistic to charter a boat and sail to the Exumas or Eleuthera without a skipper? Or is that too ambitious for a beginner? Are there crewed charter options that are not too expensive? I have about two weeks free and I want to explore beyond Nassau. Any advice from people who have done this?
