Did a pierogi making class in Krakow last weekend and it was the highlight of my whole trip. A local grandmother taught us how to make the dough, fill them with potato and cheese, and crimp the edges properly. Mine looked terrible but tasted amazing. We ate everything we made with sour cream and fried onions. She told us her recipe has not changed in 40 years. Bought a pierogi press at the market on the way home. Already made them twice since getting back.
