Just moved here for work (from London). Want to avoid being that obvious tourist who walks slow and blocks the sidewalk.

I've figured out: don't stop in the middle of the sidewalk, know which way the subway runs before entering, coffee smaller is better, oat milk costs extra.

What am I still missing? How to find good pizza vs tourist trap? What's the deal with tipping? 20% everywhere feels like a lot.

Any unwritten subway rules I should know?
