Visited Niagara Falls at night when they illuminate the falls with colored lights and it was completely different from the daytime visit. The scale is still overwhelming but the colors add something theatrical and strange. Watched from the Canadian side, which has the better view by far. The mist catches the light and creates halos around the falls. Had dinner at a restaurant overlooking the falls and watched the light show from the table. Niagara is touristy but genuinely impressive. The night visit is worth it.
