Did the Pilsner Urquell brewery tour in Plzen and it was one of the best brewery experiences I have had anywhere. The tour goes into the original underground cellars where the beer was lagered in oak barrels, and at the end you drink unpasteurized beer straight from the tank. It tastes completely different from the bottled version - fresher, more complex, with a creaminess that disappears in the pasteurization process. Plzen is only 90 minutes from Prague and completely worth the trip.
