I want to visit Auschwitz while I am in Central Europe and I am trying to figure out the logistics from Prague. Is it better to go from Prague directly or to base myself in Krakow for a few days? How long should I plan to spend there? I have heard you should book a guided tour in advance. Are there any specific things I should know before going? I want to approach this visit with the seriousness it deserves and I am not sure how to prepare.
