I want to do a DMZ tour from Seoul but I am overwhelmed by the options. There seem to be dozens of tour operators and different routes. What is the difference between the various tours? Is the JSA (Joint Security Area) tour worth the extra cost? I have heard some tours are quite rushed and superficial. Are there any operators that give a more in-depth experience? Also wondering about the booking process - do I need to book far in advance?
