I have been in Nassau for two weeks and I want to find some good snorkeling spots. The ones near the cruise ship areas seem very crowded and the coral looks damaged. Are there better spots accessible by boat from Nassau? I have heard the Exumas have incredible snorkeling but I am not sure how to get there independently. Also wondering about the blue holes - are they accessible for snorkelers or only divers? Any recommendations from people who know the waters here would be great.
