Everyone talks about Czech beer and yes it is incredible, but what I love more is the pub culture itself. The hospoda near my apartment feels like a living room - same regulars every evening, the bartender knows everyone by name, and the svickova with bread dumplings is the best comfort food I have found in Europe. Spent three hours there last Tuesday just talking to locals. No one was on their phone. It felt like a different era in the best way.
