Finally found a proper taco spot in East LA that the locals actually go to. No Instagram aesthetic, just a tiny window, plastic chairs, and the most incredible al pastor tacos I have ever eaten. The pork is carved right off the spit with a slice of pineapple on top. Three tacos and a horchata for under $10. The line moves fast and everyone knows their order before they get to the window. This is what LA is really about.
