Did a proper street food crawl along Gurney Drive last night. Started with char kway teow from the famous uncle who has been cooking there for decades - the wok hei was incredible. Then moved to assam laksa, cendol for dessert, rojak, and finished with a bowl of Hokkien mee. My stomach was at full capacity but I have zero regrets. Penang really is the food capital of Malaysia.
