Hey everyone, just arrived from Hong Kong last week. A few observations:

1. The MRT here is so much more civilized. Nobody pushes, people actually queue.
2. The food is incredible and cheaper than HK for the quality.
3. Mandarin is... different? I can read most signs but the accent throws me off.
4. No Octopus card equivalent yet - this is genuinely inconvenient.
5. The night markets here have way more variety than I expected.

Question: is there a good expat community here? WhatsApp groups or Discord servers?
