Coming from Singapore. London was supposed to be expensive but honestly the salary I'm getting is making me question if I can actually live here.

Currently looking at:
- Zone 2 flat in Hackney: 1800/month
- Zone 3 in Stratford: 1500/month
- Zone 4 in Leytonstone: 1300/month

Are these reasonable? I work near Liverpool Street so Stratford/Leytonstone commute isn't bad.

Also: what's the trick to finding cheap groceries? Sainsbury's near me seems more expensive than back home.
