Hey everyone, just arrived in Melbourne last week on a student visa. The city is beautiful but a bit overwhelming. Landed from Singapore and the first thing I noticed was how quiet it is here.

Questions:
- Best way to make friends as a newcomer?
- Is the myki card the only way to pay for public transport?
- Any good Asian grocery stores near the CBD?
