Born and raised in Guangzhou. The tourist trap dim sum places make me sad.

Real spots:
- Tao Tao Ju - old school, been there since 1885, still excellent
- Nanxin Riverfront - cart dim sum is peak Guangzhou

Go before 9am if you want the real Cantonese breakfast experience. After 10am it's mostly tourists.
