Moved from Montreal to Toronto 2 years ago. It's complicated.

Toronto is cleaner, safer, more economically vibrant. But there's something about Montreal's soul that's just different. In Montreal, people actually take lunch breaks and sit at cafes. In Toronto, everyone eats at their desk while replying to emails.

Best of both: cottage country north of Toronto feels a bit like Quebec. Happy here but I miss Montreal every damn day.
