Spent a weekend in Poznan and it was one of the best weekends I have had in Poland. The old market square is one of the most beautiful in Central Europe, the goats that come out of the town hall clock at noon are genuinely charming, and the food scene is excellent. Had the local specialty - St. Martin croissants - which are flaky, sweet, and filled with white poppy seed paste. The city is confident and lively without being overrun with tourists. Poznan deserves more attention.
