Spent a weekend in Olomouc and I am baffled that it is not more famous. The baroque fountains in the main square are extraordinary, the old town is beautiful and almost entirely free of tourists, and the food and drink are excellent and cheap. Had a beer in a pub that has been there since the 14th century. The astronomical clock is the second largest in the Czech Republic. Olomouc is two hours from Prague and feels like a completely different world. Go before everyone else discovers it.
