Spent a week diving in Raja Ampat and I am still struggling to describe what I saw. The coral is the healthiest I have seen anywhere - dense, colorful, and full of life. Saw manta rays, wobbegong sharks, pygmy seahorses, and more species of fish than I could count. The above-water scenery is equally extraordinary - limestone karst islands rising from turquoise water. Raja Ampat is remote and not cheap to get to but it is the most extraordinary marine environment on the planet. Worth every effort.
