I am planning a road trip across Australia and I am trying to decide whether to drive the Nullarbor or fly over it. People keep telling me it is incredibly boring - just flat straight road for thousands of kilometers. But I have also heard some people find it meditative and the Bunda Cliffs are spectacular. How long does it actually take? Are there enough places to stop? And is it safe to drive alone? Any honest assessment from people who have done it would help me decide.
