I have been in Taiwan for six months on a regular work visa and I have heard about the Taiwan Gold Card program for skilled professionals. My field is technology and I think I might qualify. Has anyone gone through the application process recently? How long does it take? What are the actual benefits compared to a regular work visa? I have heard it gives more flexibility but I am not sure if the application process is worth the effort. Any advice from people who have the Gold Card would be really helpful.
