I take the Bosphorus ferry to work every morning and I still cannot believe this is my daily commute. Fifteen minutes on the water between Europe and Asia, watching the minarets and the old city on one side and the modern skyline on the other. Seagulls following the boat, fishermen on the bridges, the smell of salt water and simit. It costs almost nothing. I have been doing this for eight months and I still stop to look every single morning. Istanbul is genuinely one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
