I am planning to rent a car and drive around Scotland next month. I have been driving for ten years but always on the right side of the road. How long did it take people to adjust to driving on the left? Are there any specific things I should watch out for? I have heard roundabouts are particularly confusing. Also wondering about the single-track roads in the Highlands - are they as intimidating as they look? Any practical tips from people who have made this adjustment would be really helpful.
