I am visiting Cappadocia next month and the hot air balloon rides are much more expensive than I expected - around 150-200 euros per person. Is it genuinely worth it or is it one of those things that looks better in photos than it actually is? I have heard the sunrise flights are the best but they are also the most expensive. Are there cheaper operators that are still safe? And what is the cancellation policy like if the weather is bad? Any advice from people who have done it?
