Just arrived in Sydney on a working holiday visa and need to open a bank account. I have heard Commonwealth Bank and ANZ are popular but I am not sure which is better for someone new here. Do I need to go in person or can I do it online? What documents do I need? Also wondering if there are any fees I should watch out for. I want to start working as soon as possible so getting this sorted quickly is important.
