Finally made it to Ulu Temburong National Park and the journey there is half the experience. Took a speedboat through the mangroves, then a longboat up the river, then hiked to the canopy walkway. Standing above the rainforest canopy with nothing but jungle in every direction was genuinely breathtaking. Saw hornbills, heard gibbons, and got completely soaked in a sudden downpour. Brunei is so underrated as a nature destination. This park alone is worth the trip.
