Visited Kampong Ayer, the water village in Bandar Seri Begawan, and it completely changed my idea of what a city can look like. Thousands of people living in houses built on stilts over the river, connected by wooden walkways. Took a water taxi to get there, wandered through the narrow paths, and had tea with a family who invited me in. The kids were doing homework, the grandmother was cooking, and the whole thing felt completely normal and extraordinary at the same time.
